Position Overview
InHealth Group is at the forefront of transforming diagnostic services, emphasizing accessibility and community engagement. We are thrilled to announce the establishment of new Community Diagnostic Centres, aimed at enhancing patient care beyond traditional hospital settings. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist to become an integral part of our Ultrasound team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient experiences while assisting our Sonographers during ultrasound examinations. This position is part-time and requires commitment to work three days a week, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a smooth transition from arrival to departure.
- Accompany patients to and from clinical areas, providing clear explanations of procedures and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Facilitate the completion of pre-scan data protection and consent documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions post-procedure, promptly reporting any changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Accurately input all relevant patient information into the management system.
- Handle inquiries via telephone, in-person, and other communication channels with efficiency and courtesy.
Candidate Profile
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Proficient in administrative tasks and IT applications.
While prior experience in a similar healthcare role is beneficial, a genuine enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a dynamic patient-centered environment is equally valued.
