About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the WISH Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and non-clinical healthcare support to patients, under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered healthcare practitioner.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, specific to your area of work.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience of providing care in a healthcare or social setting.
  • Ability to work as a dynamic member of a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of sexual health and a commitment to a caring approach to patients and relatives.
