Salary: £30,000 - £33,000


You will be working in a fast-paced environment, responsible for planning and coordinating the daily workload for vehicles based at Astley and Chirk. This will involve effective planning and utilization of drivers and sub-contract haulage for deliveries and collections nationwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate daily workload for vehicles based at Astley and Chirk
  • Effective planning and utilization of drivers and sub-contract haulage for deliveries and collections nationwide
  • Deal with queries from customers, sub-contract hauliers, and warehousing sites


Requirements:

  • Experience of general road haulage transport planning
  • Ability to work effectively in a close team
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale
  • Experience of organizing outbound and return loads
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business
  • PC literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook
