Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Shoalter Automation (UK) Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and servicing of machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to any machinery breakdowns, diagnosing faults and conducting repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A degree in an engineering field or a recognized engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and PLC systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours:

This role requires flexibility to cover a shift pattern spanning 24 hours, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Availability at weekends and public holidays is also required.
