Manufacturing Engineer

TS Tech Americas, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Airfield Engineering Asset Project Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Airfield Engineering Asset Project Engineer will be responsible for the installation of new manufacturing equipment, working closely with equipment suppliers, installation teams, and TSAM R&D to successfully transition production to full utilization and maturation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to resolve problems and improve manufacturing processes.
- Examine manufacturing processes and drive improvements to workflow, working with other departments to innovate data-driven improvement projects related to quality, productivity, and management index analysis.
- Identify current process limitations, perform root cause analysis, and propose creative solutions for path forward.
- Support prototype and testing builds, and experience with 3D CAD software (Catia, SolidWorks, eDrawings).
- Develop and maintain schedules for development, specification maturation, appearance verification, and Mass Production start-up support.
- Identify, track, and prioritize resolution of project concerns.
- Develop Process Layout, determine specification of Equipment, Jigs, and Tools to achieve the highest efficient production process.
- Ensure schedules and CAD models/drawings are accurate and stay on track while meeting all standard procedures and conforming to ISO policies.
- Support department innovation through benchmarking, proof of concept, research activities, and development proposals.
- Demonstrate overall engineering aptitude and have a high knowledge base of TS Tech products and requirements.
- Track and maintain design-related issues and propose countermeasures per schedule.
- Support the development and proposal of reoccurrence prevention methods.
- Effectively communicate between production, PE, and scheduling departments to create and implement countermeasure activity and improvement schedules.
- Provide reports to upper management as requested/needed.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of operations and engineering practices and procedures within a JIT manufacturing environment.
- Good written, verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Previous manufacturing/engineering experience is preferred.
