About the Role

As a Federal Tax Intern at RSM, you will work with large and small companies in various industries, developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses and challenges. You will work on multiple team engagements each year, including several pieces of any particular assignment.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a team that focuses on a wide range of tax specialty areas, including accounting for income taxes, corporate taxation, and individual taxation.
  • Complete tax planning and research, preparing federal and state & local tax returns.
  • Understand tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
Qualifications
  • 90 credit hours completed.
  • Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Accounting Major.
  • Travel to assigned client locations is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team.
