Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on regulatory aspects of commercial contracts, customer terms, asset transfers, and new client propositions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver high-quality advice and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and changes, ensuring our clients receive expert guidance.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the practice.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory framework within which retail investment businesses operate.
  • Experience of corporate transactional work and commercial contracts, with the ability to draft related regulatory provisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise advice, confident in its technical basis but user-friendly to busy executives.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work to clients' deadlines, understanding that external forces can dictate timescales.
