Behaviour Support Worker

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will be working with students aged 11 to 18 who require additional support with their mental health and behaviour.

Your role will involve providing 1:1 and group support in the classroom, helping to manage students' behaviour and develop their social and emotional skills. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain experience working with challenging behaviour and mental health. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic team.

  • Supporting students with mental health needs and challenging behaviour
  • Providing 1:1 and group support in the classroom
  • Working with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Developing social and emotional skills in students

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
