About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Accountant to join our team at Jobs for Humanity. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business partners and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the creation and renewal of budgets for our clients, ensuring that costs are accurately budgeted and charged.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with our business partners to provide ad hoc analysis and support for business projects and initiatives.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, ensuring revenue recognition is in line with accounting standards, and investigate variances and report results to business partners.
  • Reconciliation and Invoicing: Coordinate and review client reconciliations, and deliver timely and accurate invoicing for client activity.
  • Financial Metrics and Analysis: Drive financial metrics and analysis to optimize working capital and ensure optimum levels of financial performance.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience working in a financial environment, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Professional Qualifications: Highly desirable to be at the final level of a relevant professional qualification, such as CIMA or ACCA.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in PC software, including Excel and Word, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
