Accounts Assistant Role at RG Consultancy

RG Consultancy is excited to be working with an expanding Wholesale company based in Swinton. Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to come on board and really help drive the business forward by supporting the Finance Manager in their duties who you will report directly into.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in finance and work alongside an experienced accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and processing of approved invoices and credit notes with accurate coding.
  • Weekly preparation and processing of supplier payments.
  • Reconciliation of supplier and intercompany statements.
  • Conducting reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Collaborating with various departments to resolve supplier inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Recording and allocating bank payments and interest charges.
  • Handling general journal entries and generating reports.
  • Supporting senior financial officers as required.
  • Processing expense receipts and payments as requested.
