About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Train Manager. As a key member of our On-Board team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trains, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the safety and operational activities of the train, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Check and sell tickets, providing information and assistance as required.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment is maintained on board the train.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of railway operations and safety procedures, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
