Role Overview:
This position involves a blend of warehouse responsibilities and HGV driving duties, with approximately 80% of the role focused on warehouse tasks and 20% on driving.
As a Transport Operator, you will be responsible for operating a HGV vehicle to transfer goods between locations. You will ensure that all items are stored correctly, adhering to company protocols and guidelines, while maintaining proper stock rotation and batch coding practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing the First In, First Out (FIFO) method for inventory management.
- Accurately assembling orders for clients or transporting them to designated storage areas, ensuring timely delivery.
- Participating in packaging and quality assurance processes to uphold product standards.
- Conducting regular inventory checks to maintain precise stock levels.
Candidates must possess a valid driving license along with an HGV Class 2 certification.
