About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Band 6 or 7. As a senior member of our Mental Health Support Team (MHST), you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a clinical caseload and provide supervision to junior staff
  • Offer consultations within schools and deliver evidence-based interventions to support the recovery of children and young people
  • Deputise for the Band 7 Clinical Lead within your team as needed
  • Support and provide a high-quality service to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Core professional qualification relevant to mental health and children and young people
  • Significant experience in CAMHS/MHST/Mental Health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and make autonomous decisions
  • Valid UK driving license and car available for work
