Job Description

We are proud to be working with a school in Derbyshire, seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.

As a trusted partner of the school, we have built strong relationships with a multitude of SEND provisions, supporting a wide range of diagnoses. If you have experience working with children who are diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, or other conditions, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with additional needs in a SEND provision
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with complex needs
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of SEND policies and procedures
