About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist/Endoscopist to join our multi-disciplinary medical team at Practice Plus Group. As a valued member of our team, you will bring your expertise and skills in Gastroenterology and Endoscopic procedures to provide high-quality gastrointestinal services for the population of Birmingham in a clean and modern hospital.

Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant Gastroenterologist/Endoscopist, you will be responsible for delivering diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures to referred NHS and private patients. You will be expected to deliver upper and lower day case gastroenterology services, principally carried out under local anaesthesia or without sedation. Your focus will be on ensuring that our patients receive high-quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with full and specialist GMC registration, evidence of subspecialty training, and experience of working in a specialist department treating upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions. You will also have the ability to offer an expert opinion on a range of problems in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantial experience in the speciality.
