Job Overview

Our approach involves designing integrated pathways that are locally agreed upon, ensuring the delivery of patient-focused endoscopy services through a streamlined, one-stop service model. Our centres are strategically located in community settings, making them easily accessible via public transport.

Key Responsibilities

Our offerings encompass Gastroscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Haemorrhoidal Banding. As an Endoscopist, you will be responsible for delivering some or all of the following services:

  • Upper GI Endoscopy
  • Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Providing telephone consultations to referring clinicians
  • Engaging in company and governance meetings
  • Triage of patient referrals

About CHEC

CHEC is actively seeking skilled Endoscopists to join our dedicated team at our newly established, state-of-the-art Community Endoscopy Centres throughout England. With over 12 years of experience in delivering rapid access to high-quality eye care and day-surgery in community settings, we are now expanding our model of service to include endoscopy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive experience in both upper and lower GI endoscopy
  • A solid understanding of JAG standards and requirements within an Endoscopy Service
  • Valid registration with GMC, NMC, or HCPC
