Accounts Assistant

White Oak UK is a leading provider of loans and asset finance to SME businesses. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in processing purchase invoices, updating the purchase ledger, and ensuring the sales ledger is up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices and input correct codes onto the system
  • Update the purchase ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Deal with daily banking transactions and update the cash book
  • Load payments to HSBC net for purchases and own book payouts
  • Responsible for the weekly purchase ledger payment run
  • Monthly and half-monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, including investigation and resolution of any unallocated items
  • Reconciliation of own book suspense accounts
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts role
  • Computer literacy, with Excel essential and Netsuite accountancy software preferred
  • Studying or have a desire to be studying AAT
