Job Title: Academy Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our sites are run in accordance with our company's health and safety standards, building regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Control: Undertake company-directed quality control procedures and inspections at the correct timings, and rectify any defects to avoid additional costs, time delays, or reduction in final quality.
  2. Site Inspections: Initiate and attend plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector or NHBC, ensuring that our sites are compliant with all relevant regulations.
  3. New Home Demos: Carry out New Home Demos with the Sales Advisor and customer(s) to provide a good demonstration of the home, answering any questions, and rectifying any issues before Legal Completion.
  4. Leadership and Teamwork: Proven good leadership and the ability to consistently deliver on quality and weekly targets through good organisation of the labour force and promoting a team working ethic.
  5. Qualifications and Experience: A member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or qualified to NVQ level 5 in Construction Management, or a time-served tradesman with considerable experience of the full range of construction trades.
  6. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of all aspects of construction and housebuilding, and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements, and Building Regulations.
