Electroplating Technician

At Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Electroplater to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake surface preparation by Grit Blasting techniques to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Assist in the electroplating process, including component stripping, surface preparation, and masking.
- Work with Alocrom processes to achieve optimal results.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and Company Procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including the Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Previous experience working in an engineering facility, with knowledge of PPE and overhead cranes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including weekends.
