**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Construction and Infrastructure team at Wessex Water. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the implementation of Engineering Schemes, ensuring that all relevant scheme information is collated and that the construction, Electrical and Mechanical teams can carry out works to programme.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Oversee all phases of engineering schemes according to the NEC3 contract
  • Conduct design reviews and analyse data to develop and implement strategies
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal departments
  • Attend meetings at various sites and report on project milestones
  • Ensure health and safety documentation is in place throughout the project
  • Manage project risk, including safety, environmental, process, programme, and budget
  • Build good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Develop business/commercial awareness and computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Hold relevant engineering degree/equivalent certificate or time-served experience
  • Have experience in the water, utility, or construction industry
  • Demonstrate experience in working independently and analysing large volumes of information (drawings, data, and specifications)
