Maintenance Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at Building Recruitment Company. As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the day-to-day planning and scheduling of responsive repairs, void property works, gas servicing, and planned maintenance programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the scheduling of trade operatives and their work schedules.
  • Process and complete work orders as required, ensuring timely completion and high customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise closely with tenants, trades, and customer services staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of works.
  • Assess and arrange appointments for follow-on work, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a maintenance or customer-facing role, with a high volume of customer interactions.
  • Administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
What We Offer:
  • Opportunity to work with a large housing association in Newport.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12-£15.10.
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
