Job Title: Exam Invigilators

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £12.29 gross per hour

Job Type: Part-Time, Casual

Workingmums is seeking to recruit additional Invigilators to provide support to the Examinations Officer during examination periods and on a flexible basis at other times throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Setting up examination rooms to ensure a smooth and efficient examination process.
  2. Providing excellent customer service and dealing with queries in accordance with JCQ Regulations and College policy.
  3. Supervising students during examinations to maintain a secure and fair environment.
  4. Escorting students to areas outside of the examination room as required.

The successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, and have the ability to work under pressure with a good degree of accuracy. Ability to work at short notice is a must.

Training will be provided where necessary to ensure the Invigilators are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

As an Invigilator, you will be working on a regular basis in a school in a role that gives opportunity for contact with children. As such, you will be in regulated activity and an enhanced DBS check (which includes children's barred list information) will be required in advance of appointment.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. You will be responsible for providing a safe environment in which children can learn.
