We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the smooth delivery of care services
- Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the best care plans are created and delivered
- Administering and recording medication, as well as carrying out risk assessments
- Working closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring they remain as active and independent as possible
- Collaborating with the leadership team to develop services and improve the overall quality of care
About You:
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable, but not essential
- You must be well-organised, IT literate, and able to allocate and delegate work effectively
- Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong understanding of care planning processes
- Experience in administering medication is essential, and you must be willing to undertake training if necessary
- Above all, you must have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling
