About the Role

This is a rewarding and varied role that involves providing support to adults with multiple needs. As a Support Worker with United Response, you will be part of a team that provides person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to adults with multiple needs, including personal care, moving and handling, and assisting with daily living tasks.
  • Work as part of a team to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals with complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care and support plans.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working in a care and support setting, preferably with adults with multiple needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lone working.
  • Range of communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Confident in assisting with personal care, moving and handling.
  • Compassion and integrity to treat individuals with dignity and respect.
  • Adaptable to different abilities and needs.
  • Driver desirable but not essential.
