About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Care Trainer to strengthen our current team and deliver high-quality training to our staff, enabling them to provide exceptional person-centred care. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire end-to-end process of training design, delivery, and evaluation, allowing you to shape the training programs we offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our staff and residents
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery
  • Support the development of a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization

About You

You will be a skilled trainer with experience in the adult social care industry, working within the regulatory framework. You will be able to identify learning needs and evaluate learning and development programs through observation and feedback.

You will support a cluster of homes across the region, ensuring that staff have access to ongoing skills development, as required for the care sector and working within Sanctuary Care.

You will need to be hardworking, have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to work as part of a team, and solely, while being remotely managed. Communication and organizational skills are essential as you will work closely with people at all levels of the organization to ensure cost-effective training is delivered appropriately and consistently.

Requirements

  • Experience in training and development in the adult social care industry
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
