Job Title: Power Systems Technician

Arqiva is seeking a skilled Power Systems Technician to join our team in Yorkshire. As a key member of our mobile team, you will be responsible for providing technical engineering services with minimal supervision in respect of mechanical and electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance, supervision, and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete planned works and maintenance on a range of systems and networks.
  • Respond to faults and service outages and complete corrective maintenance in line with Arqiva standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support upgrades and modifications to existing systems and networks following agreed instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting of actions taken.
  • Complete testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and customer requirements.
  • Engage with customers and build positive working relationships.
  • Participate in 24/7 365 callout response as per the scheduled rota.
Requirements:
  • Driving license (full UK)
  • City & Guilds 2381-22 Edition Regulations
  • Previous experience in Field Services or completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship in a similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of the principles of power supplies, environmental controls, analogue, and digital electronics.
  • Working knowledge of and able to apply Safety, Health, and Environment legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Some overnight stays away from home location may be required.
