CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarm Engineer Role Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Get Staff for a CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarm Engineer to join their team in Huddersfield. As a CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, repair, fault-finding, and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV & Access Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, service, repair, fault-finding, and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV & Access Control Systems
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
  • Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team
  • Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to
  • Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to more junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Ideally 3 years' experience working within a similar role
  • Good understanding of most systems e.g. Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV & Access Control is preferred
  • Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
  • You will be willing to learn new systems
  • You will hold a Full UK driving Licence or equivalent
  • A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
  • A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
  • Desirable qualifications include: IPAF, CSCS/ ECS, FIA and/or City & Guilds
  • Experience of an electrical background would also be very useful
