Job Summary

Cycas Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at the Ibis Bridgwater hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage guest communications, including phone calls, emails, and messages, ensuring that all requests are met and resolved promptly.
  • Operate the hotel's front office systems, including the property management system and other software applications.
  • Process transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's facilities, services, and promotions, and communicate this information to guests as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
