Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Batch & Furnace Operator to join our team at O-I. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating our furnace effectively and safely, while also supporting routine and non-routine maintenance in the areas covered by the Batch & Furnace team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the furnace safely and efficiently
- Support maintenance activities in the Batch & Furnace team
- Work effectively under pressure and make decisive decisions
- Use time effectively to meet production targets
Requirements
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of furnace operation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
