Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement responsible product strategies within the Corporate division
- Engage in key case underwriting and new business activities, ensuring compliance with underwriting standards and regulations
- Mentor and coach underwriting staff to achieve profitability objectives and enhance their skills and knowledge
- Develop and leverage broker/client relationships to drive business growth and revenue
- Act as an expert in large case underwriting, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients
- Assist in determining sector strategy and contribute to the development of business plans
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
- Ensure that all underwriting activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Provide superior customer service standards, ensuring that clients receive exceptional support and guidance
Requirements:
- Experience in underwriting Property and Casualty classes of business, with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices
- Direct engagement with large UK Corporate Clients, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships
