The Role: Payroll & Benefits Specialist

We are currently seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our UK-based global payroll team. You will be part of a team of six reporting to the International Payroll Supervisor, contributing to the completion of UK and International payrolls, as well as maintaining compensation and benefit data for employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to the Payroll Team
  • Input data into various payroll systems as required
  • Manage benefit and pension administration, including opt-outs/ins and uploading data to relevant parties
  • Assist with the management of contractor data and payments
  • Maintain employee information such as addresses, salaries, and name changes
  • Assist with payroll queries, improvements, and implementing changes
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to show initiative, work within a team, and communicate effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Previous experience in an office environment
  • Excellent Excel data manipulation skills
  • Previous payroll experience is desirable, along with familiarity with payroll software (Cintra, ADP & Workday)
