Audit and Accounts Professional

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in Sittingbourne in their search for an Audit and Accounts Senior.
This is a mixed audit and accounts opportunity, offering a wide range of businesses from large corporates to not-for-profit organisations, including schools, academies, and charities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team, leading in a methodical manner to meet client needs and complete audits efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have ACA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 3 years of accountancy practice experience. Previous audit experience is essential.
The role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £48,000, negotiable, and a range of benefits, including hybrid working, flexible hours, study support, and a 6% pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities- Plan and perform audits, with scope to lead a team of junior auditors
- Obtain background data for audit planning
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Draft Management letters and reports
- Ensure time budgets are maintained
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional relationships
- Supervise and assist junior staff
- Liaise with other departments to efficiently help clients
- Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients
- ACA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of accountancy practice experience
