Job Description:
Procurement Role and Responsibilities:
- Place and process purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date transactional systems.
- Conduct regular stock checks for consumable parts and place orders as needed.
- Facilitate purchase orders and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Support the Strategic Purchasing Team in generating purchase price variance (PPV) reports and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Monitor market pricing and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, approvals, and customer-specific requirements, including exports/imports and ITAR regulations.
- Work in accordance with the control framework and conduct annual reviews as required.
- Prepare all necessary documents for audits, both internal and external.
- Maintain the Vendor Base in line with group targets.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Experience in buying and expediting within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in the Aerospace/Defense Sector is advantageous.
- CIPS Qualification (or working towards) is beneficial.
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 17:00.
