Job Description:

Procurement Role and Responsibilities:

  • Place and process purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date transactional systems.
  • Conduct regular stock checks for consumable parts and place orders as needed.
  • Facilitate purchase orders and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Support the Strategic Purchasing Team in generating purchase price variance (PPV) reports and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Monitor market pricing and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, approvals, and customer-specific requirements, including exports/imports and ITAR regulations.
  • Work in accordance with the control framework and conduct annual reviews as required.
  • Prepare all necessary documents for audits, both internal and external.
  • Maintain the Vendor Base in line with group targets.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience in buying and expediting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in the Aerospace/Defense Sector is advantageous.
  • CIPS Qualification (or working towards) is beneficial.

Working Hours and Benefits:
