Key Responsibilities- Payroll Process Leadership: Oversee the payroll process, collaborating with the finance and people teams, employees, and outsourced payroll providers to ensure seamless execution.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Maintain, update, and create relevant payroll policies, procedures, and forms to support the organization's needs.
- Compliance and Reporting: Assist with the submission of statutory notices, audit requests, and relevant tax documents, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Employee Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll queries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with the resources function as a stakeholder in the delivery of business support services to the organization.
- Benefits Administration: Implement and deliver pension schemes and benefits, such as private medical, vision care, life assurance, cycle to work, and enhanced sickness and parental entitlement.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in processing UK payroll, with specific knowledge of related legislation and statutory requirements, including PAYE.
- Global Payroll Expertise: Extensive knowledge of global payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Data Management: Experience in managing multiple global payrolls and data management.
- Certifications: A CPP qualification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate/advanced Excel user with strong attention to detail and data manipulation and reporting capability.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
