Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Assist in the management of contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Person Specification
  • Relevant trade qualifications or experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
