Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis Leader

About the Role
This is a senior leadership position within the British Business Bank's Finance department, responsible for leading the bank's financial planning, management reporting, business analysis, and government finance liaison roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the bank's long-term financial plan, including the 5-year business plan, and manage short-term financial reforecasting and ad-hoc planning projects.
- Oversee the preparation of regular and ad-hoc management information, including direct business analysis and board reporting/commentary.
- Manage the Finance dimension of the bank's relationship with the UK Government and lead on Finance input to budget bids for new government products/resources.
- Direct and prioritize the team's activities in line with business priorities, manage team performance, and contribute to the leadership of the Finance department.
Requirements
- Senior management experience in an FP&A team, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
- Experience of forecasting in a complex and dynamic environment, with substantial Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Knowledge of comparable financial products, experience of managing budgets and forecasts in the context of Parliamentary and Departmental spending controls.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with a strong focus on team performance and development.
