Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses with daily tasks and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct face-to-face assessments with patients, including taking urine samples, ECGs, blood tests, and MRSA screening.

Person Specification
  • Essential criteria: Level 3 in healthcare or NVQ level 3, GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above, and willingness to undertake Trust internal Level 3 training programme.
  • Desirable criteria: Level 3 QCF diploma in healthcare or NVQ level 3.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Understanding of health and safety issues within healthcare.
  • Understanding of the role of a band 3 senior HCA.
  • Previous experience of working in an acute healthcare or related setting.
