Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Practice Coordinator to support the Investment Management team in our London office.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of matters, providing exceptional service to partners and clients, and contributing to the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage matter opening and administration, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and partners.
  • Coordinate billing portfolios for assigned partners, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Review time entries for compliance, matter coding, and rates, ensuring seamless billing processes.
  • Produce high-quality client bills, maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with the practice group to develop strong working relationships with clients, attending practice group meetings as needed.
  • Assist with financial analysis, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Liaise with billing colleagues and wider administration teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Support ad hoc projects, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a leading US law firm, offering a wonderful working culture and hybrid working arrangements (3 days per week in the office).

To be successful in this role, you will require a degree/ILEX education and prior experience in a similar paralegal/matter management position in a law firm environment. Knowledge of Aderant would be advantageous.
