Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Domestic Team as a Domestic Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of housekeeping across the College, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and emptying waste bins.
  • Ensure that the floors, walls, and fittings of the toilets and bathrooms are kept in a clean and hygienic condition, and that dispensers are refilled.
  • Assist in the College laundries as required.
  • Assist the Domestic Team in ensuring that adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and safely stored in accordance with health and safety requirements and COSHH.
  • Deep clean areas as necessary.
  • Participate in the College's quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the post that may be required by the Head of College or line manager.

  • To carry out additional duties and tasks that may be required within the range of the responsibilities of the post.
