Work Schedule: Double Day Shifts, Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm (Early finish on Fridays)

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist for a prominent client located in the Keighley area of West Yorkshire. This client is a leading provider of packaging solutions within the food sector, serving a diverse range of clients across the UK. The role involves supporting general maintenance operations, focusing on the upkeep and repair of various complex machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive maintenance alongside planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all electrical components of machinery.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and repair activities.
- Address electrical issues in high-speed packaging machinery, including control panels, circuits, three-phase power, wiring, sensors, relays, and inverters.
- Work with equipment such as filling machines, sealing machines, labeling machines, wrapping machines, cartoning machines, palletizers, and capping machines.
- Prioritize safety and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Completion of an electrical engineering apprenticeship, with a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 (certificates required).
- Proven experience with LEAN methodologies and Continuous Improvement practices (e.g., 5S).
- Strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, particularly in food production.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with production teams and supervisors.
- Dependable and punctual.
