Primary Objective:

To deliver sales and administrative assistance to the Sales Team Leader, Territory Account Manager, and the Sales division, concentrating on the expansion and retention of current accounts.


Working Hours:
Full Time - Office Based

Key Responsibilities - The Position

  • To offer telephonic support to the Sales Team.
  • To participate in monthly sales meetings, providing updates and reports on sales performance.
  • To manage and nurture an assigned customer portfolio, sustaining business relationships and enhancing sales revenue to achieve established annual targets within designated sales margins.
  • To oversee and maintain customer portfolio records on the CRM system, ensuring all records are kept up to date.
  • To establish and uphold barcoding requirements and labels as necessary.
  • To draft proposals, contracts, and other customer-related documentation as needed.
  • To identify stock issues concerning the sales order process to the FM/MD.
  • To generate daily sales picking lists and delivery notes.
  • Conduct customer visits to develop and strengthen relationships with key members of the purchasing teams.
  • To ensure that all documentation adheres to the sales processes.
  • To cultivate close working relationships with related departments; warehouse, sales, purchasing, administration, and Senior Management Team.
  • To ensure customer requirements and expectations are fulfilled.
  • To stay informed about competitor intelligence and communicate relevant information to appropriate parties within Portafix Ltd.
  • To perform any reasonable task requested by the General Manager and Senior Management Team.
  • To ensure performance aligns with all standards upheld by the group (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 & AS9120B).
Sales Executive - The Candidate

  • High level of IT proficiency (especially in Word and Excel), with a solid standard of general education including literacy and numeracy.
  • Exceptional telephone communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience.
  • Outstanding organizational and administrative skills, with the capacity to prioritize effectively; emphasizing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining an exceptionally high standard of work.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and motivational skills, capable of working independently.
  • Driven and self-motivated with high energy, flexibility, and adaptability, combined with the ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
