About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Advisor to join our team at Nisbets. As a Retail Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, contributing to store sales targets, and driving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Deliver first-class customer service in line with Nisbets expectations, ensuring all customer needs are met and customers repeatedly return.
  • Store Sales: Take ownership of contributing to store sales targets and KPIs, including Revenue, Margin, Conversion, Footfall, Quotes, and ATV, to maximize profitability of the store.
  • Store Outreach: Contribute to the store outreach plan, using your local knowledge, which may include outbound sales calls, visiting customers, and participating in meetings and events in store.
  • Shop Floor Duties: Partake in general shop floor duties, including stock replenishment and processing deliveries.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are met to drive customer engagement and repeat custom through maximizing Store KPIs.
  • Stock Auditing: Accurately complete stock auditing tasks in line with managers' guidance.
  • Cash Handling: Process customer payment transactions while adhering to policy.
  • Health and Safety: Be accountable for reading, understanding, and adhering to all retail policies communicated by your line manager.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Uphold great standards of Cleaning in areas of shop floor, back areas, windows, and fitting rooms to create a healthy environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Conflict Resolution: Treat all visitors to the store with respect and consideration using training provided to assess and approach difficult situations with the aim of a positive solution.
