The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital services, working closely with academic and professional services colleagues to deliver strategic objectives in teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Architecture and Analysis: Lead on the delivery of in-depth business architecture and analysis of business and organisational challenges facing the University, translating these into high-quality business requirements documents.
  • Requirements Elicitation and Definition: Responsible for the elicitation, analysis, and definition of requirements for critical University business solutions, including production of detailed and consistent documentation.
  • Integration Systems Expertise: Have a deep understanding of integrations systems and accompanying regulations and compliance.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile approaches and practices, with experience of JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other modern workload management tools.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to carry out comprehensive stakeholder management and work collaboratively with stakeholders to lead and deliver business improvement projects.
  • Decision Making: Ability to develop and shape best-practice guidelines and use data to influence high-risk decision making.
Requirements
  • A degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.
  • Excellent organisational planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance competing demands and manage expectations and resources.
