Job Summary

Bath College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Instructor to join our team. As an Electrical Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Electrical training programs to students, ensuring they meet the required standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver Electrical training programs to students, using a variety of teaching methods and techniques to ensure effective learning.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments and evaluations of student learning, ensuring they meet the required standards and expectations.
  • Course Development: Develop and maintain Electrical training programs, including schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment plans.
  • Student Support: Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their Electrical training.
  • Departmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and staff to ensure the effective delivery of Electrical training programs.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade C or above, nationally recognized qualification in an Electrical discipline, 18th Edition, 2nd Amendment qualification, TAQA Assessor Award, and Teaching Qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Electrical training and assessment, with a strong understanding of Electrical principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
