Contract and Procurement Lawyer Opportunity

Venn Group is partnering with a well-regarded Local Authority in London to find talented Contract and Procurement Lawyers to join their dynamic legal department.

About the Role

This is a full-time Inside IR35 position (36 hours per week) with hybrid working available, requiring office attendance once a fortnight. As a Contract and Procurement Lawyer, you will provide strategic legal advice on contracts and procurement matters to the Council, Members, and Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and procurement documents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and laws.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with a current practising certificate. You should also have a strong understanding of public procurement regulations and commercial contract law.
