Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join our team at Sellick Partnership Limited. As a Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of contracts and procurement matters with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of contracts and procurement projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and procurement.
  • Provide expert advice on contract law and procurement procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, CILEx) with prior experience working for a local authority.
  • Good knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
