Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Ringwood

Salary: circa £27,000 per annum

Hours: 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes lunch break

Aspire Jobs Limited is delighted to partner with our client to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant. Our client is a well-established company in the construction sector, with a strong reputation and a growing workforce of around 400 staff.

The company is expanding its accounts department and requires a dynamic and proactive Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will have previous experience with Sage 50 and a strong attention to detail. They will be confident in using Excel and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing purchase ledger invoices via PDF and supplier portals
  • Checking, coding, and data entry for purchase ledger invoices
  • Purchase ledger filing and maintenance
  • Month-end supplier statement reconciliation
  • Assisting with month-end procedures

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work to deadlines, and have a strong understanding of the purchase ledger process. They will be adaptable to change and have a positive attitude towards working in a fast-paced environment.
