Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at Evolve Talent Search Ltd. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with established schedules to uphold engineering standards and enhance the operational efficiency of the facility.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and maintaining rigorous quality assurance protocols.
  • Maintaining precise records and documentation related to the electrical and mechanical components of PPM and plant operations.
  • Responding promptly to all electrically and mechanically related maintenance requests and issues.
  • Performing technical assessments of services and systems, providing detailed reports to management regarding findings.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults associated with both PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Executing minor installation projects related to electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Coordinating with specialist subcontractors for electrical and mechanical PPM tasks, including surveying and approving new work.
  • Participating in necessary training to enhance skills and fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Gaining site Authorised Person (AP) status for High Voltage and/or Mechanical systems.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications, such as City & Guilds Level 2 & 3.
  • A proven history in building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled expertise in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Knowledge of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, power distribution, HVAC systems, and high/low voltage systems.
