About the Company

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be supporting a specialist land promotion business focused on delivering land with planning permission to the housebuilding and logistics/manufacturing sectors.

Job Summary

As a Land and Planning Manager, you will play a key role in driving the land promotion process. From the identification and acquisition of land through to the submission and negotiation of planning applications, you will be instrumental in the successful management of the Strategic Land portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Land Promotion: Lead local plan promotion work, managing consultants, and engaging with local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with external property contacts, including local authorities, agents, landowners, and developers, to identify and secure land opportunities.
  • Long-term Strategy: Identify key areas for growth and future opportunities, advancing planning applications for strategic development sites.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the land promotion process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
