Arrow Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist M&E contractor on a large residential project in the South East region. This contractor is renowned for its impressive portfolio of complex building services packages in the residential and commercial sectors.

The project in question will consist of numerous residential blocks with an MEP value of over £20 million. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantity surveying, with 5+ years of experience at Project Quantity Surveyor level, and be confident in overseeing both mechanical and electrical packages. They will be detail-driven and eager to progress their career.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the commercial and surveying aspects on sites
  • Drafting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Managing budgets and commercial tasks on major residential schemes
  • Cost control
  • Preparing tenders, procuring subcontractors and materials
  • Liaising with both production and technical teams
  • Attending all project and team meetings
  • Client-facing

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience at Project QS level
  • A confident communicator who can demonstrate the ability to form and develop relationships with the client, PQS, design team, and supply chain
  • Ideally, previous mission-critical experience
  • Sound MEP knowledge
  • Longevity in previous roles
